Her mother Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile provider Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. was director of a firm that runs an internet networking network. As a child of the context of a Catholic family the child was raised in Manhattan's Upper East Side. This is why her parents put her into the Convent of the Sacred Heart which is a prestigious and exclusive school. Music was her passion from the age of a child. She began playing the piano at just a young girl. After the age of 13, she composed her first tune. Open mic nights were her most favorite. She was a huge fan of Queen Michael Jackson, Madonna and David Bowie. She graduated from New York University, Tisch School of Art she started learning to sing after graduating from high school. However, she did not finish her degree. Instead she began her music career.
